Grave of Sir Mang-hyeon Lee

It is of Lee, Maenghyun, a civil officer in the early of Josun (1436~1487).

In 1456 (2nd year of Sejo) the government official exam for Sangwongosi and had greate reputation in the field of Kyunghak (study).

In 1460, passed the government official exam for Chundangdaesi 1st on the list and had filled various important posts in the Court successively.

IIn 1475, he was very con the argument about re-building Kyunghoeru for people suffering a severe drought and proposed correction after going through several villages’ Register of Lands.

He was designated as an acknowledged clean-handed government officer having a moral influence and good at writing and composing.
